A right-hand point break over sand, long and gentle by coast standards — one of the more beginner-friendly waves in the area, with a faster inside section that holds interest for stronger surfers.

About 90 minutes from San Salvador International Airport by car or shuttle; El Sunzal sits directly between El Zonte and El Tunco on the coastal highway.
